The curious case of Benjamin Button

I re-watched this recently but I still can’t say I enjoyed it. The first part of the movie is actually quite brilliant and promise a lot more than it offers in the second half: it’s like it slowly decades from being some sort of creepy, interesting and freekish kind of movie to a boring, epic and history-crossing love story. But I loved that red-headed pale-skinned Cate Blanchett.
